Frost Damage: In the last week we have experienced an unusually long and cold week with hard freezes occurring in many locations including the Kings Point community. These freezes can have a short and long term affects on our landscapes. Our POC contacts and homeowners will have many questions as they start to notice the change in the landscape. I wanted to provide a few answers to some of the possible questions that maybe asked. ValleyCrest will continue to implement all best management maintenance practices to help restore the landscape back to the way that you have been accustomed to seeing it as the warmer weather returns, thank you for you cooperation. -John Cornelius ValleyCrest Landscape Maintenance 01/14/10
The Standing Election Committee received a letter dated January 11, 2010 from District I Candidate, Marlyne Goodman, stating her withdrawal from the 2010 election of Federation Board of Directors. Herculano "Vince" Vincent is now the unopposed candidate for District I. If you are a District I unit owner and still have District I ballot (printed on ivory-colored paper), please do not send it in or bring it to your annual meeting. There is no longer a requirement for ballots in District I. -Continental Group Inc. 1/14/10
A diver must go into the lake to pull the pump in golf course pond #41 at Yorkshire in order to clean the filter and to check for pump damage. If the problem is only a clog, then the filter will be cleaned and the pump put back into service on Friday 1/15/10. However, if the pump is damaged, it will be out-of-service (most likely until Wednesday, 1/20/10, depending on warmer weather). -Dana Lin Phillips, Master 01/13/10

Memorandum Concerning Ownership of the Recreational Facilities at Kings Point Sun City Center, Florida: This memo is intended to eliminate questions concerning ownership of the recreational amenities (Rec Area) and control of the related property at Kings Point Sun City Center (KPSCC). First, the "Kings Point Sun City Center West Land Trust Agreement" is the document where the community creates a Florida Land Trust (The Trust). The second document, "Agreement of Sale & Purchase" has details for the purchase of both the Rec Area and the Long Term Leases associated with the amenities by KPSCC from WCI, the developer. -Sterling Management Services 06/02/09
